Who can use Folder Templates?
To use Folder Templates you must be an employee user with 'Allow this user to edit folder templates' enabled in your permissions in Manage Users. If this is not currently the case, please contact a user with access to allow permissions to have this enabled for you. You must also have access to set up root level folders on the account, or have upload permissions in one or more folders where you can add subfolders.
How do I use Folder Templates?
You can create a new Folder Template by logging in to the account and clicking the Admin link in the top navigation bar, and then clicking Dynamic Folder Templates in the menu to the right of the screen. On the next screen, click Create New Template. You can enter a name for this template, which will allow you to identify the template if you set up more than one on the system. This title will not be displayed in the folder screen itself. You can also enter a description, which will be displayed on the Dynamic Folder Templates page, to help you further identify a specific template if you create more than one on your account. When you are done, click Create Template.

On the next screen, click on the title of your template to highlight it, and then click Add Folder. You can set up as many subfolders as you would like. To create a subfolder of folder in the template, you can click on the name of the folder that will contain the new subfolder, and then click Add Folder. Once that you are done, click Finish.

You can also use a template to add subfolders to a folder that you have already created. If you click on a folder's name to open it, you can click on the drop down arrow directly to the right of the folder's name, and click Edit Folder Options. If you scroll down this menu, you can mark 'Yes' in the Folder Templates section, and then you may select a template that you have created to apply to this folder, and click Save.
